Music Student Sponsor

For only $15/month you can sponsor a music student ….

..… give them the joy and rewards of learning to play a musical instrument, and be an encourager to them!

The students who receive sponsor provided scholarships must demonstrate a genuinely serious interest and an inability to pay the fees.

Sponsoring a student (child, teenager, or young adult) to attend David’s Praise & Worship Music Academy gives that student much more than just learning to play an instrument. It teaches them how to glorify God through praise and worship. And, by beginning each session with devotional and prayer and interacting with the godly staff they come to better know and love the One they are praising and worshiping.

A lot of these students will go back to their churches and lead/participate in their church’s praise and worship team. Many will participate as part of KGM’s mobile evangelism team.

Not all these young people are from Christian families or are believers or. David’s Praise & Worship Music academy is also a community outreach tool – inviting anyone to attend. This not only creates the opportunity to share the Gospel with unbelieving students but also opens doors to share with their families, friends and neighbors.

Sponsoring a student in David’s Praise & Worship Music Academy is a lot more than just money. Equally important, is your encouragement by communicating with your student thru emails. So we ask that you to periodically send them an encouraging email. When you sign up to sponsor a student we make a commitment to you and ask that you make a commitment to the student you sponsor. Your Commitment .... Our Commitment

Your commitment is to:

  • sponsor your student for twelve months
  • send an email or letter of encouragement monthly
  • sign up for our music school blog so you can stay abreast of ministry activities and needs
  • pray regularly for your sponsored student, and the academy director and staff and for KGM, for CTC and for harvest workers for our ministry
  • tell others about your ministry and the student you’re sponsoring. Ask them to join you in praying for your student and his/her needs, and to consider helping meet those needs
  • pray for opportunities to share with others about your ministry with David’s Praise & Worship Music Academy and how this ministry is helping evangelize the unreached peoples in Karnataka, India – so that the Holy Spirit can move in hearts to raise up additional needed sponsors.
  • encourage others to visit the CTC web site to learn about what you and all the ways they too can participate
  • contact us if we can help you in any way with your ministry

Our commitment to you is to:

  • be good stewards of your funds and maintain strict accountability
  • provide you with a picture and information of the student you’ll be sponsoring;
  • translate correspondence between you and your student
  • regularly provide news and pictures about the music academy through our blog,
  • give you the opportunity to go on mission trips with us so you can meet your student in person; meet the academy leaders and staff; see the academy and participate in its activities; and see and learn about the mission field in Karnataka and India first hand!
  • be available to help you with your ministry any way we can
