Director of Micro Enterprise Development

CTC is seeking a self-initiating individual with strong business and entrepreneurial skills to oversee our micro enterprise development initiative. 

This is a vital ministry within CTC.  Helping our indigenous pastors and their churches become financially self-sufficient as quickly as possible is one of our main objectives.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who believes they have a calling to serve the Lord in this area, and who can take our broad plans and build this critical ministry component from the ground up.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating opportunities that arise
  • Conduct thorough and detailed due diligence to determine feasibility
  • Preparing business plans to include Capital Investment Requirements and Income projections
  • Preparing general and project-specific presentations to include PowerPoint presentations
  • Updating brochures and other promotional materials as needed
  • Preparing proposals for prospective donors
  • Developing policies and procedures
  • Making opportunities known to potential partners
  • Overseeing and insuring accountability and field reporting
  • Reporting to donors both in writing and verbally.

Could require periodic travel to India to inspect on-going operations and to identify potential opportunities.

We are seeking an individual who can work on a volunteer basis or raise their own support.  The job is initially part time and will be working from home.

Persons interested must have their own computer equipment and software for the job (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

The position reports to the Executive Director.

The job has flexible hours and for the majority of the time work can be fit into his/her own personal schedule.
