KGM TAILORING INSTITUTE IS UP AND RUNNING!
Our special thanks to our Completing The Call partners who made it possible to build the church building and purchase the machines.
The opening of this institute has endeared the KGM Director and the local pastor and his wife to top local government officials. As a result they are promoting the institute and our new church there. We know God is going to use this in a might way to further His kingdom in Karnataka and to provide funds to help support this church’s outreach and church planting.
As you can see from the sign below, it is more than just a tailoring institute. It is an conscious, dedicated outreach ministry. The institute was begun with 15 students, all Hindus. Every day the director leads in morning and afternoon prayers. In addition, she and others provide counseling to these women. Many of these initial students have already come to Sunday worship service! As they receive the love of Christ we firmly believe that all the women will begin coming to church and we are claiming them all for Christ!
In kicking off the institute as an outreach, no fees are being charged. Some time later they will begin charging small fess that the students can afford and providing scholarships to those who can’t afford it.
In about a year the plan is to begin making clothes to be sold in order to help the church there become financially self-sufficient in its outreach and church planting activities.
Please join us in praying for God’s blessings on the institute, its director, its workers and its students. Pray that this can be a catalyst to begin a major movement of the Holy Spirit throughout this area.
