Badly needed major renovation begun on Bobby & Rekha’s 100 year old home
In many parts of the house the walls, constructed of mud bricks, have been almost completely destroyed by termites. The roof which has never been replaced and has numerous leaks which, as you could only imagine, are particularly problematic during the long monsoon season – buckets everywhere. All the plumbing and electrical components must also be replaced.
We have been praying for funds for this for over ten years. The Lord has begun answering our prayers in a completely unexpected way!
Here’s how – Rekha’s mom recently learned that the road in front of her house is being widened requiring part of her property. She has given the payment from the government to Bobby & Rekha! It will cover 40% of the funds needed and get the renovation off to a great start.
