How our fundamental strategy works …
Church Planting Partnerships are the core of our mission operation. Churches here partner with indigenous churches to provide badly needed resources for sharing the gospel, discipling believers, and planting reproducing churches. Our focal person in the mission field is the indigenous missionary pastor.
Utilizing native missionary pastors is infinitely less costly, more efficient, and more practical than training and sending American or other foreign missionaries. Working this way saves time, effort and resources. We’ve also seen that unsaved people are much more receptive to people who were born and raised in the same culture. To this end, the first step in empowering indigenous churches is supporting their pastor and helping him grow his church until it is able to fully support him and his family.
We have seen how directly engaging churches and individuals like you can open a vast army of untapped mission workers. This is particularly true for smaller churches that don’t have the resources or connections to engage directly in their own foreign mission work.
Here’s where it gets exciting! Jesus told his disciples to pray for harvest workers because the harvest was plentiful but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37-38).
Now you or your church can become some of those very harvest workers right where they are needed the most. You can work among the unreached without leaving your home base!
Through CTC, you can experience the joy of directly working with and supporting native pastors, churches, and children.
For the first time in the mission field, you are able to receive direct, personal feedback from the people you are partnered with and see how your resources and support are being used. Regular email, pictures and reports, provide a constant connection to the church, pastor and people that you are supporting overseas and their activities.
